just re-read my post from yesterday. sheesh. what a whiner. all it took was waking up to a blue sky and no wind, and i couldn't be happier. can't wait to get outside and play.
after trying to avoid this whole webkinz thing, my kids finally caught on and we now own one. this is a virtual pet that you have to take care of on the computer. apparently you have to buy it toys and clean it and feed it and make it happy or it dies and you have to buy a new one.
nice scheme, hallmark.
the husband had an awesome idea--seriously. we need to invent spousekinz, where you get your virtual spouse and you have to cook it dinner, buy it presents, do chores, be nice to it or it divorces you. but, if you take good care of it, you earn points you can redeem for um...well, this was the husband's idea so you can use your imagination. anyway, it's a million dollar idea. smooth of me to put it out there on the world wide web, isn't it?

What a brilliant idea but I think I will keep my mortal model. Who would run and get me starbucks when I am sick:) I am glad you feel better a little sun can go a long way!

We have 8 webkinz between everyone...at this point, it's a little hard to keep all of the little virtual pets happy, fed, etc. We'll go awhile when finally someone will yell, "We need to check our pets!" Hmmm...good thing we do a better job with our real pet or we'd really be in trouble.

We are and have been a webkin house for a while now. We have proven that they can go a very long time without feedings!
Glad you are feeling better. You South Dakotains(??) are not alone. We were out of the patio last weekend drinking margaritas this weekend we were in a snowstorm. We jump at every warm sunny day for that extra Vit. D!!

Sometimes whining is necessary. Really.
Webkinz are weird. My brother's kids are into them, but we missed the window with the Monkey (yeah!!) and he has declared them, "retarded."
Chris--if only you could get a virtual Pickle. :-)
