have you ever passed up a gas station when your tank is on E just because you're pretty sure you can make it to the next town? do you wait until the very last day to get something important in the mail and then hope like crazy it arrives on time? or throw a pan of bars into the oven about 30 minutes before you need to take them to an event, realizing there's a good chance they might not turn out? or worse--leave the house late knowing you can speed and probably still make it on timish.

i do this stuff ALL THE TIME. i'm not sure if my adventurous nature simply causes me to create this extra adrenaline out of nothing, or if i have a serious procrastination problem, but it makes my husband insane. i don't blame him. last night the poor guy had to take a gas can with him to sioux falls and bring it back home to fill up my truck so that i don't get stranded while driving to a meeting today. even though i'm fairly sure i could have made it to the next gas station.

thanks husband. once again, you are the goods.

yeah. i have done all of those things.

but i don't think it's really something i can excuse away as being "adventurous" - i am a procrastinator, and i don't work very hard at not being one.

:) hope you make it in today!

I could be the child for your poster, buddy. I think it's part Procrastinator, part Overwhelmed Multi-Tasker. The procrastinator part is genetic, so there's no use fighting it. The Multi-tasker only seems to be getting worse, so there's no hope there, either.

I hear your problem, sister! I have it too. Sometimes I have so many things started and NOTHING gets done. So it has to get done at the last minute, sending me into a stress mode. I do it to myself and I will never learn. I think I am just meant to live on the edge too. But sometimes I wish I wouldn't!
