i don't know much, but i do know this. when working on a project, nothing ever goes exactly as planned or works the first time you try it. and it always takes wayyyy more time than you think it will.

that pretty much sums up our weekend :)

otherwise, all is well. we're growing grass, working hard to get a yard in before fall. one more big day and we aren't working in the yard again until spring. here's a funny thing about working on your yard around here. people constantly boat past and yell "having fun yet?" and "you know they have people that do that for you." they are all laughing and having a ball, and we are cursing at the skid loader or kicking the broken water pump.

this is why God gave us middle fingers. he he he.
