here's a crazy story. i drove to sf today to get new tires put on my truck. i got there, and the kids were sound asleep in the back. my husband was coming to pick us up so we wouldn't have to sit at the tire store for an hour. he was late, so i just waited in the car and read a book while the kids slept. the great dude at my tire shop said he didn't mind. about 20 minutes later, my husband gets there and immediately asks "you didn't drive like that did you?" i have no idea what he's talking about. like what? "your tire is completely flat." i'm totally perplexed. did i really drive 30 minutes on a flat tire?? i get out and sure enough, my back tire is squashed up to the rim.

I gulp. did i really just drive with my tire like that? how could i not notice?

then the tire guy comes out and says "it wasn't flat when you got here. i looked. that just happened while you were sitting in my driveway."

so apparently i got a bad flat tire sitting in the driveway of the tire store.

is that the most ironic thing ever?

thanks Big Guy. i owe you one.

Why do you think it is that the Lord needs to help us both with our tires? Maybe because we are both mechanically challenged?

Remarkably similar story to my driving to St Paul, then getting a flat in Rick's driveway...or on the street right across from the neighbor who works at Billion :))

God is good! Now if tires just were.

The Lord works in mysterious ways, he knows you have two angels in your car and held that tire with his breath until you got to the garage. GO GOD!
