this is for all my sdsu jackrabbit buddies. on saturday, the jacks football team beat the number 4 team in the nation--the university of cal-poly. this was a HUGE upset. the game was amazing, the jacks came back from a 28-6 deficit in the 4th quarter, scored 3 touchdowns and then made the choice to go for it in the final minute of the game--but instead of kicking the field goal, they went for the touchdown and made it. it was so cool to hear it all unfold on the radio. we were huddled around the speakers, barely breathing it was so intense! as most of you know, jamie's nephew is a receiver for the jacks and we've been following the games pretty closely. this win is a big turning point for our old school...go jacks!!
for all you non-sporting types, i apologize for this entry. you may now return to your knitting and your pumpkin bread :)

GO JACKS! Gosh, brings me back to those awesome game days in college. I loved 'em, especially the memories. Glad to hear they pulled off a win, sounded pretty darn exciting!

you know, this entry is EXACTLY the reason we sat on different ends of the bus.
i was reading with interest until you slammed my kind at the end! little do you know that after a DECADE as a jackrabbit (yeah, i even outdid you) i do enjoy hearing of their sports accomplishments.
not as much as knitting, but still.
