the husband and little j have now both been through the flu at our house. little j was sick all weekend and the husband had it about a week ago. they both recovered pretty well, but it wasn't fun while it lasted.
it's like waiting for the other shoe to fall. i have way too much going on to be sick.
doesn't help that little j wanted me to cuddle him up every night...and how can you say no to that?

Yikes. Which flu?? We all had the regular shot, but NO WAY am I giving my family a brand-new vaccine. I was at the school earlier and the nurse was running around like a madwoman. I'm afraid it's on its way.

it is here. not even sure if that's what my boys had because the clinics are saying "don't even come here. we can't handle any more people and if you DO have it, we can't really help you. JUST STAY HOME." so we did.
i know that HALF of little j's classmates stayed home sick last friday. 8 out of 16 kids.

we had the "choice" to shake hands and hug people at church, given the flu potential. of course, all of our believers in healing just held on and hugged :)
but i know what you mean. i have told God that this isn't the best timing to be sick :)

I thought about not shaking in church and wished that we had been given a choice. The Monkey had about 10 kids out of each class today...

Did your family have flu shots? Drew's got all the typical flu symptoms now, we've all had our regular flu shots. I know exactly what you mean about the waiting game. Half tempted to just start licking Drew and get it over with.

We got the regular shots. We haven't been sick yet. Dad says there are lots of sick people at the hospital and ITS WAY EARLY.
Hopefully it passes us by. Still undecided on getting the mego piggy shot, if its even available. Will ask the doc, but dad sees some nasty stuff at work and I dont' want him kissin his babies without some sorta shield...

The buddy TM and Bubba spent the night with Saturday is home with flu symptoms.
For the record: I'M NOT LICKING ANYBODY. Well, maybe the Wonder Hub, but no one else.

the hub got shots because it's mandatory for staff at the hospital but the rest of us have not. we were going to get them, but you can't get them when you are sick...soo...
anyway, everyone is healthy today. hope you all are too.
