from the fall eddie bauer catalog, people. i am quite sure those would qualify as "pegged" pants back in the day. circa carey crouse, 1990ish, without the heels.
i called it. and yes, you who scoff the jegging...i also call that YOU will be rolling them up above the ankle, perhaps even folding the cuff over and pegging them.

oh dear...oh dear, oh dear, oh dear...not made for my shape at all... I will laugh out loud the first time I see a real live person wearing their jeans like this...and yes, I did it in the 80's, too :)

i will say that i was a die-hard pegger. it's a look that works very well for tall girls who usually can't find pants long enough. i can see myself going back...possibly bringing out the hair crimper and the bandanas, maybe even the little tiny braid on the side...
i draw the line at the cobra bangs.

I always loved that braid. Will you please let your hair be red again, too? I was missing that just this morning while I made spaghetti sauce. Don't ask me why.
I hate the jegging, but could probably handle pegging again. As long as it doesn't require heels. I am ridiculous in heels.

I am not sure about pegging again...but I can fully support the jeggings! They are the best...in fact I am wearing them today.

I laughed so hard when I first read this post. I loved loved pegging, even though I didn't know it had a name. I remember being really sad that the fad went away. Now I'm not sure. I like rolling my pants, does that count?
