he he. my mom called about a week ago with a plan and my husband worked some deals with his co-workers to get a few days off after the holidays. he works christmas eve day, so we will leave on christmas morning for denver. we'll meet up with my mom and her husband and my brother's family for a couple of days, which we will pack full of fun, fun, fun. we're going to the King Tut exhibit at the Art Museum, we have 7th row tickets to the Avalanche/Detroit Red Wings game, tickets to Hubble 3D at the Imax and reservations at a nice hotel. There was apparently an amazing package deal and we were able to make it work.

I am asking Santa for good roads there and back this Christmas.
