we started out nice and clean...and hot...95 degrees and humid. it was a toaster at 11:30 sunday morning. the warrior dash was crazy and fun despite the heat. our group had a blast...stuck together through the mud and the muck, the heat and the hills, the fire jumping and the mud crawling...

and we got our dirty on. the final mud crawl had us up to our necks under barbed wire. we also climbed walls, jumped fire, ran through a hurricane of fire hose water...all of this was nothing compared to the ski hill we had to run up. the running was tough, straight up and hot. halfway through i admit to thinking how strange people are to pay to do things like this.

now i remember. it's for the muddy photos and the smiles at the end, and the ability to say "i did it."
