sunday was the official start of a short period i like to call "wife season." it occurs after baseball and before hockey/hunting. it happens again for a few weeks in the spring, after hockey but before baseball. however, the spring wife season is usually interrupted by a brief fly-fishing stint.
hockey starts september 23. until then, it's all ME. ME. ME. if you see us holding hands in public, don't worry. it's only temporary.

I know what you mean!!! Didn't we used to call hunting season "girls against trees"?? Actually I'm all for it now, makes the boys in my house much happier :)
But I love wife season and I'll take it while it's here!

I remember Girls Against Trees!!! That is hilarious! As for Rani--if making a person doesn't make it Rani Season, well, you need to take him out and shoot him. Bobby-wife season for you is exactly one day, which is why I suggested pictures...so you can prove that it actually happened.

This is great. Kathy gave us the address when we met last night. Jeanette framed the pictures of the boys and Berkley so they hang on our wall of fame in the bedroom. I will keep reading your notes. Love to all of you. Grandpa Jack
