this is a positive message about mankind :) i've been just blown away by how considerate and nice some people can be this week. i had about 50 people pre-register for the 5K, and most of them showed up on saturday. there were a handful that did not. and do you know what? i've heard from every one of them. they all wrote me to explain why they couldn't make it and to apologize. one guy had an asthma attack. another guy couldn't get his car started. a lady couldn't find anyone to watch her son.
i have to admit, i feel kind of crappy. if i didn't show up for a race i signed up for, i really don't think i'd write the organizer to explain why or to apologize.
but i will from now on. i know that much.

Sheesh...I feel kind of bad too. I guess writing the organizer is good idea, just so they know. Thanks for the insight, really made me think!

Oh, now it is my turn to feel for you, I could have written this post...we all have gifts, they just appear in different times and places maybe Big J and Big A just need time to grow into theirs...and all the other kiddos will just have to catch up
