well, this is the ending to our super duper summer. top pic is of the husband on his big 40th birthday, with his sister who lives up near duluth. we stayed at her house, she lives on a lake and there is always plenty to do. we went mountain biking, canoing (and turtle hunting), kayaking, hiking and biking, sat by the bonfire and drank blue raspberry martinis...possibly my new fave. it was a great way to end the season and a nice birthday AND anniversary gift. the air has a snap to it and i can feel fall just around the corner. my favorite season. life is good.
