quick one-two-three update.
One. sidney dog has bone cancer in her leg and hip. there is nothing they can do to help her, but we are going to give her all the love and ice cream she can handle while we have her with us. she doesn't seem to be in any real pain, and is still happy...just prefers to watch a ball than chase one right now. such a good girl.
Two. i got to see karen today! :) we had a great lunch before she flew back home. wish she could have stayed longer, but i'll take what i can get.
Three. biking season is on and man does it feel good. sara and i cranked out 40 windy miles over memorial day weekend. i look forward to many more (but put in a request for a little less breeze).

I read Karen was in town. I hope you had a lovely visit. What an icky day today was...
Do you have a good seat? I am not a lover of the bikes these days. I think I over did it, I like walking and pretend running better.

Well that is not the news I hoping to hear about Sidney, I know what time she has left will mean everything to her and you guys. On the up side, lunch with Karen, how lucky are you.

Sorry to hear about Sidney. Love those dogs but man, I wish we didn't get so attached to them. I know how you are feeling, i'll be thinking of you.
Lunch with Karen?! How awesome! I bet you guys enjoyed that time together.
Way to go on the biking! We did find a guy to join our team for that triathlon in Yankton. He's a biker and really wanted to do it. But you could still come down and do it with Jamie! How's the house coming along? Broke ground yet? So exciting. You will have a busy summer! Love ya and hope to see you soon!
