i've been waiting for this but by the end of the day i'm sure i will be feeling totally the opposite.
today the husband starts rocking the outside of the house. i'm very excited and i really want to be part of it...so i say. i worked last night and early this morning to get my stuff done so i can spend the next few hours out there. i do know me. i know i have no skills. i know the husband will get frustrated because of it, and i'll get frustrated back and pretty soon i'll throw a rock at his head...but for now, i'm excited. i cannot wait to see this house done.
wish me luck. i'm dressing up like a worker man now and heading out...ok, my hat is pink and black and my coat matches and i've got these cute gloves...but otherwise, i'm all man.

I hope rocking is easier than siding. I cannot help Ryan. We would for surely be done. I don't know how I can be married to man and not be able to hold a piece of siding for three minutes without wanting to leave him. I guess it is what it is. I would rathar clean 100 toilets in other peoples houses than work with him. So, good luck with your project and I hope there are no rocks being thrown.

hey guess what? we not only survived but it was kinda fun. i got to use the big cordless super drill to drill all the screws into the lath. i felt useful and kinda powerful. i knocked off at 7 but the husband stayed until 11:30 last night, working in the rain by the light of one floodlight thingy. stay tuned for post and pics :)

You go handy girl! We did rock on the front together it was a disaster, I kept saying "I don't think the glue looks right" after hubby ignoring me, and stone after stone falling off, a friend came over and said "you are using the wrong glue"...score

I cannot wait to see the rock and the rest of the house! Now it's even more special becuase you did some that yourself! Jamie sure like to do that stuff though doesn't he?! And he's good at it too. I'll have to hire him when he's done with your house...or maybe I'll hire YOU!! :))
