while on our fabulous ski vacation, big j had to write a report about why a ski vacation is so great. i decided to write that same report myself:

*on a ski vacation, your hat is your comb and the hot tub is your shower. you don't need to wear make-up and it's ok to wear sweats for 6 days straight.

*on a ski vacation, you are outside for 8 hours even on a cold, snowy day.

*on a ski vacation, you smile so much that your face hurts.

*on a ski vacation, you get to have deep conversations with your children on the chairlift.

*on a ski vacation, burning calories is something that happens while you are having the time of your life.

*on a ski vacation, you get to end the day on the back deck with a cold beer, your friends and family, good music and some sun beams.

*on a ski vacation, you sleep like a baby.

*on a ski vacation, you forget about work and stress and phone calls and emails.

*on a ski vacation, you watch your youngest son fall all over himself for the girl he has crushed on since he was three years old.

*on a ski vacation, you watch the girl and the boy chat their way down double black diamond runs, and smile at how dang cute it is.

*on a ski vacation, a big juicy burger has never tasted so good.

*on a ski vacation, you come home and aren't really sure you want to get back to work, so you blog about your ski vacation instead. and you look out the window and remember the blue of the sky and the white of the snow and you wish you could be on a ski vacation forever.
