i had to look twice at the high temp for today.
30 degrees.
that is like going from a freezer into the oven, people.
i think the high yesterday was 1. the day before was -4. same with the day before that and the day before that.
i think about what 30 degrees means most of the year--it means cold and miserable. it's all relative. 30 degrees in mid-january means going OUTSIDE. it means throwing the pets out there, too. and the kids. it means cross country skis, sledding, ice skating and happiness.
get out there, south dakota girls. it's a sun day.

I'm pretty sure I've become a wimp. It was 20 (but dark and windy) the other day and I vowed not to leave the house. Admittedly, I no longer own proper -3 clothing, but still. I flipping HATE being cold.

he he. i went running last night at 7 pm with my friend sara. it was six degrees outside.
gotta tell you, after a mile it was GREAT. i was sweating.
