so red lodge was wonderful. and before you cuss me out, i do wear a helmet and goggles, this was at the end of the day and i had already taken them off.
now, sit back for the recap:
*12 feet of snow (the best in the nation) and sunshine. hardly anyone on the mountain. kookookookoo is still the best "i'm down here, behind this tree" call ever invented.
* great chairlift conversations. i learned that someday little j wants a pet yetti named yoyo and big j wants a yellow bellied lizard. who knew?
*the old bones can still ski four days straight without too much pain. yay old bones.
*we took a family trip down the "main drain" which is the nastiest run on the mountain. very vertical, very skinny, with lots of moguls and trees. it's the only time i took a dive, much to the delight of my children.
*hot tubs are an amazing invention. you can sit in one and look at the mountains for hours, especially when aunt aimee and is cooking dinner.
*nothing is more fun that watching your 8-year-old OWN your husband on every single run. at one point he said "something is wrong with dad. he can't seem to keep up with me." he he.
*four dogs are really loud at six o' clock in the morning.
*we let six bottles of wine go unopened. six. the shame.
*it's always a good trip when no one gets hurt. here's to another great year.

It IS a cute picture, but I can't resist saying one thing:
The way your man has his hat and goggles propped up on his head makes me think of a buffalo. Go look and tell me it isn't true.
Glad you had fun and returned home in one piece!
