nine years ago today i married my husband. to me, he's still the most awesome man alive and i can't believe i am lucky enough to have him. sure, he has his quirks and things that drive me insane, but all in all, he's a good man with a kind soul, an intelligent mind and a great sense of humor. (and as a bonus, he's still HOT :)) the best part is, he loves me back after all these years. here's to a wonderful husband and an incredible daddy.

by the way, in typical him fashion, he got up this morning to go to a meeting. i see that he's ironing his super duper Big Boy Suit (yes, believe it or not, he irons). I ask him why. he says it's for the meeting. as i'm leaving, i ask him what kind of meeting it is. he mumbles something about being nominated for an award. turns out that he is up for some big system-wide healthcare award, and he tells me the day OF the ceremony, as i'm leaving for a meeting in the opposite direction? i hope this isn't one of those deals where the wives are supposed to go, where in his speech he will say "and i'd like to thank my wife..." and i won't be there? argh. i also hope he wore his shiny new black dress shoes with the Big Boy Suit instead of his weird little shoes from 1985...
