i went to get the digital camera. there were rows and rows and rows of them. i read each of their little bios. i tried to choose. there were just so many. i stared for about 10 minutes. almost had one, put it back, picked up one a few steps away.

and then i walked out of the store, feeling the shame of a woman who doesn't know a megapixel from a LCD.

would someone just do this for me???

There are so many to choose from. My advice? Just make sure you get with plenty of megapixels, like at least a 6. That way you can blow photos up and they won't get all pixel-y. My friend just got a Kodak Easy Share and she loves it. I've seen it and it looks really easy to use. Just go in with your gut and pick the one you think will do what you need. I wish I could come up and help you. If you still haven't gotten anything before xmas, maybe I can come up after the holidays!

It will be ok. Deep cleansing breath. I think that for the first round, maybe the Kodak route might be the right one. I think that those are the easiest, plus they aren't that expensive so you can get your bearings about you and get another later.

You can then give the Kodak to Big J because he will have figured out how to build a webpage by that time...smart little bugger.

my advice is to look at all the photos on these blogs we've been reading, and follow the advice of the obvious pro in the bunch...

or maybe go shopping with her.
