man, did i ever need a dose of vitamin d. yesterday the sun came out about 3 pm and it was like a whole new world out here. there is still lots of snow on the ground, so it smelled like a ski resort and the air felt like it had been spring-cleaned.
my favorite.
i am at the point of not being able to stand one more day on the stupid treadmill, so timing is everything. i put on my fleecy stuff and went on a run outside, in the sun and the snow. it made me smile from the inside out. i thought about karen's mom sue, up there touring her first day in heaven, and i know she is smiling from the inside out as well. i hope i get some sunny snow days when i get up there--maybe God even has a great ski resort, where tickets are free and hot chocolate is served in the lift line. wait...there won't be a lift line in heaven...it's heaven after all. and i bet all chairs go straight to the top. sweet.
thinking of you sue...and still smiling...

I love that SD blue ski, nothing prettier. How was your VERY cold run though?;)

The thought of my mom skiing in heaven is hilarious. Everyone better watch out, 'cause you know she'll be a maniac, screaming with joy all the way down the slope.
