does it do a person any good to work out for 50 minutes and then go immediately upstairs to eat a brownie?

sigh.

if you would have worked out for an HOUR, you could have eaten TWO.

I certainly think so. My trainer even says to make sure and eat within an hour after a hard workout. He said a little protein, carb and fat-which a brownie has all of them: eggs=protein, flour=carb and oil=fat. That is the ONLY reason I work out, to treat myself:)

I think you need to give yourself room to indulge once in awhile, WITHOUT guilt. If I know you, and I do, you don't let yourself do that very often.

could be worse, you could NOT work out and then eat the whole pan...not that I would know anything about that.

Absolutely. In fact, that is precisely WHY you spend 50 minutes on the treadmill.

Yep. I find sweets to be much sweeter when I can justify it with "I just worked out" Gives me an excuse I guess!
