so having a kitten in the house is quite the adventure. true to his name, pounce does pounce. on moving and non-moving objects. and quite often on himself. but the funniest thing that has happened is that our older crabby fat cat--a cat that has been too cool to play with anything or anyone since the day she was born-- has suddenly taken a huge interest in strings, paper clips and golf balls. don't get me wrong, she's not playing WITH pounce. she hates him. but she watches him constantly, and as soon as he gives up on a toy, she nonchalantly walks over to try it out. she's playing for the first time in her life, at age 10. it's great. kinda like seeing your grandma waterski for the first time. which isn't a bad idea. grandma, when are you coming to visit?????

Nice mental picture of your grandmother waterskiing, buddy.

Molly wants a kitten. When we were in SD, she made friends with the neighbor's cat--they played all the time and slept snuggled up together.

Maybe Molly and Pounce will be friends when we're next-door neighbors.

Hey stranger!
How can you not love a kitten.. You know C's a cat-man but I think he secretly loves our dog.

Santa upgraded my technology so I can finally catch up on everyone's blogs. As soon as I figure out how to use my digital camera, maybe I'll try and start one of my own.

I'm just glad I can log on more often now.

take care!

Hey You need to let me know if she is coming to your house for some waterski lessons I want to be there to see that. ~Or maybe you cover the waterskiing and we can get her out here for some wakeboarding lessons! I'm sure she would be jumping the wake in no time!
