so we've started to pack up the house. we haven't found a rental house yet, but we figured we better get going. you KNOW i'm going to end up living in a storage unit, or under a bridge or in somebody's camper. it's just got to be part of this story. oh! by the way, our house is SOLD so we are officially homeless. fortunately, the nice people who bought this place are letting us hang until we find some temporary digs. like a bridge or a camper.

anyway. here is how the packing goes so far. i pretty much want to throw all this crap away and then i turn around and the husband or the kids are hauling the crap back into the keep pile. i think i'm going to have to send them away and do this all sneaky like. i do love divesting...karen, i will trade you husbands for the month of august. send over The Diverster, please. at any rate, i refuse to move all this junk not once but twice. the less we have, the better. all i need is the art on the walls, a microwave and some beds. we can start over with the furniture :)

if you are a professional packer, send me your tips. if you have a rental home in mitchell, send me your keys. if you want to watch me lose my mind, set up a camera. this next month should be a ride.

sniff sniff,

I am not a professional packer, barely into photography, don't own a rental house but I am familiar with losing my mind. Very familiar.

Let me know how I can help :) Really, okay?

i will love seeing you guys living it up under the bridge. you just KNOW you will have fun :)

seriously. i am pretty sure it's going to be a GOOD ride. but packing? yikes. i think you should leave it all for the new people and start over, with only little things ;)

Having moved 8 times since Shane and I married I am an expert packer and just stay strong with throwing if you feel like it! Packing early a little at a time helps. You could always use our pop-up

Cher has a pop-up? That's an idea. I have moved moe than a thousand times in my lifetime, and all I can say is have beer on hand, lots of it!

makes me kind of sad to hear you are packing up...fyi, go ahead and put that old shampoo that you've been holding on to for me away! No need to bring that along! Gosh, funny how i never picked it up. obviously, i didn't miss it much. but i miss you! glad your house sold though. one less thing to worry about. not sure about any packing tips...just stay positive!

Will tell husband to head on out. Pretty sure he can teach you a thing or two...and maybe it will get him off my back about having a garage sale..

probably a little more work, but you could let your kids run the moving sale?
they'd have a blast: they get to play with everything one last time PLUS make a little cash.
