the wild ride continues. God at the wheel.

first: the house we designed and i fell in love with JUST THE WAY IT WAS didn't fit right on our lot.
second: we applied for a variance and that didn't work out.
third: we sat one night thinking and playing with a little paper cut-out of the house to try to figure out if we had to buy more stupid land, or sell the lot and go somewhere else.
fourth: the paper house fell on the floor, i picked it up and put it on the lot and it was accidentally flipped over but IT FIT. totally totally fit. it's the craziest thing but it does.
fifth: we had the draftsman flip the house and make some changes.
sixth: the redesigned house is even better than the house i loved just the way it was.
seventh and the moral of the day: sometimes you have to flip your thinking, your desires and your dreams totally over to see them really come true.

if something isn't going right in your life, i'm all about the flip. give it a try.

Wow. WOW. That is the coolest post ever, buddy. I love it. I love 'God at the wheel.' A good lesson for all of us.

1. Will you tell me more about the house? Is it flipped, like left-to-right, or is flipped, like front door facing the water?
2. Is your husband feeling the God-vibe in all of this, too??

reminds of that saying that BUGS me about God being my "co-pilot" ... if God is your co-pilot, you aren't really allowing Him to rule and reign, are you?!

God at the wheel! now THAT is trust!
