i'm a little concerned about my butt.
how's that for an opener?
no, seriously. i have dedicated myself to this hardcore bootcamp class three times a week and have not missed a session yet. it's a 90 minute workout that involves interval training, cardio, weights, lots of core work and plenty of sweat. i feel stronger. however, i do NOT feel skinnier. i refuse to step on the scale to find out for sure, because i don't believe in scales...
but my jeans are tight around my butt and my thighs.
could all those squats and lunges be giving me a badonkadonk butt and thunder thighs? i was really hoping to move things along in the other direction. smaller butt. smaller thighs.
so now i wonder...do i stick it out and continue to outgrow my pants, or do i quit and go back to almost all cardio??
the bigger question: is it better to be strong or skinny?
i think i know the answer. i just don't want to have to fit into it :)

hmmmm. strong girls kind of scare me. let's go running.

This happened to me when I was spinning a lot. I think the trick is to combine the strength with cardio (running) workouts or yoga--something that lengthens muscles.

Well you know my personal preference, mostly because I gave up on skinny in that area a looooonnnnggg time ago.
