storm or no storm, we decided to head for the black hills to go skiing this weekend. the kids are pumped. my 3-year-old claims he's "going off the leash". could be interesting. he skis like a maniac and doesn't know how to stop. we have a harness thing for him and he does really well as long as we're behind him, pulling on the harness when he gets out of control. if he really does go off the leash, i may have a very interesting blog come monday. ha. i can only imagine. the big kid loves to ski. he mastered the blue runs last year, and refused to let us ride the chairlift with him. "I got it, mom." so i take the chair right behind him, reminding him every 2 seconds to scoot back, hold on tight, keep your tips up, be careful! i know he's sitting up there going "lalalalalalalalalala i can't hear you."
