i was telling a potential client today that i work out of my home office. she asked me if i ever get lonely for co-workers. i had to laugh.
in this day and age, it's impossible to be lonely. example. today i have conversed with a friend across the country all day long via email (between writing an ad campaign, of course). i traversed over to her facebook page, which was like a high school reunion. i logged onto a bunch of blogs, where i peeked in on the lives of all my blog girls, exchanged remarks and caught up on yesterday. i talked on my cell phone with about six different people. i had some voice messages. i sent a text.
all this communication coming from a girl who rarely text messages, doesn't IM, refuses to own a blackberry and doesn't have (or want) a facebook page of her own.
no, i don't get lonely. but if i ever do, i'll let you know via email.

oh I have to admit I have been walking on the facebook/spacebook darkside for a couple of months now. It has been fun to be in touch with so many people from the past/current!

not going there. i don't want to cyberhug friends from 20 years ago. not even side cyberhug.

Yeah, but how often are you going to log into MY facebook site??
I agree, it's totally insane, but also pretty cool. I just need four more hours in the day to fit it in.

Carey, I can't BELIEVE that you, who got us all to join blogland, won't get a Facebook page! I did:) For me, I do get lonely, so it is sooo fun to see these blasts of past!

It's not so bad. I like being back in more consistent contact with our military friends across the world. Plus getting to see all the pictures is fun. Especially since most do not blog!
