so this is a cool story. last friday night little j was chosen to skate out with the sioux falls stampede hockey team, in front of the big arena crowd before a game. he was pretty psyched. so we get there early, and go in the VIP entrance. i was impressed with the whole organization. we got to meet the owner of the team, the head coach shook little j's hand and everyone was just great.

then we find out that there had been a mix-up, and there was another little boy there waiting to skate out too. to make a long story short, the other boy got to skate out and little j was promised a chance in the future. but we still got free tickets to the game, little j got a stampede t-shirt and a puck. he took it like a champ, and wasn't upset at all.

we had his hockey bag with us and the husband took off all his hockey gear so we could go watch the game. the stampede owner insisted we put the bag in the locker room, so we did.

the next day, we opened the hockey bag and folded inside was this stampede hockey jersey for little j. they said they were sorry for the inconvenience, and wanted him to have it.

told you it was a cool story.

Very cool. I'm not sure anyone over here (except Bubba) would have been such a good sport. Not even me.

That is very cool-I agree with Karen I would have a hard time being a good sport to. But intentions are just as good as the product.
